Frequently Asked Questions

1.  Why call the program the Fighting Ducks?

Long Island has long been known for many things.  One of them is their prowess in lacrosse and one of the others is the fact that it serves as a native hosting ground for ducks.  We couldn’t have thought of a better combination!

The Fighting Duck's directors will provide organized, high-intensity training, and year round development, as well as top-notch coaching to players from Bayport-Blue Point, Sayville, Connetquot, East Islip, Islip, West Islip, Bay Shore, Pat-Med, Babylon and any other athlete from a program that wants a second to none experience both on and off the field! Teams for players K-1 through Varsity will train throughout the year and compete in the summer travel lacrosse circuit, with the ultimate goal of building players' skills and preparing them to compete at the next level.
